Youth activities – grant available

Much Wenlock & Shipton Local Joint Committee have been allocated £3,000 to support youth activity in their area. Much Wenlock and Shipton Local Joint Committee

Shropshire Council’s Local Joint Committee for Much Wenlock and Shipton will be considering its future when it meets on 16th July. The Committee comprises local councillors but it is your meeting. Please come along to Shipton Village Hall to hear and question Kate Garner, Shropshire Council’s Locality Commissioning Manager, and to learn more about superfast broadband rollout in our area.

Much Wenlock & Shipton Local Joint Committee

The LJC will meet at Priory Hall at 7:00pm on Wednesday 29th January. There will be presentations about flood management and first responders, as well as by past recipients telling how they’ve spent their grant money. There are also a number of grant applications for local causes. All are very welcome to attend.

The next meeting will be held in Priory Hall, Much Wenlock at 7:00pm on Wednesday 29th January. Applications for grants will be considered and we will learn about the success of projects which have previously received funding. Further details will appear in the press and posters nearer the time – everyone is welcome.
