A planning application for affordable housing – a key aspect of Much Wenlock’s nationally-acclaimed Neighbourhood Development Plan – has now been submitted by Shropshire Housing Group.

The Group owns and manages 4,500 homes in Shropshire and Herefordshire. Details of the proposals on land at Callaughton lane, near to Oakfield Park, may be found on Shropshire Council’s website using the planning application number 16/02910/FUL. You can also examine the paper plans at Shropshire Council’s office at Stanley Lane Bridgnorth or by arrangement at Much Wenlock library.

If you have a view – in support or objection – submit it to Shropshire Council as soon as possible:

The Town Council, will also be considering the application at its meeting on Thursday 28th July. They will be interested in any written views that you wish to give before making its own comments to Shropshire Council. You may be able to speak at the Town Council meeting providing you make a request a few days before the meeting.
