Advice surgery at Shipton

My next advice surgery is at Shipton Village Hall on Saturday 13th December. It starts at 10:30am for 1½ hours and I hope to be joined by a parish councillor and a representative of the police. I may schedule a further surgery in Much Wenlock at the end of January. Please look out for posters around the town although, as ever, if anyone has a problem that they think I can help with, they can contact me at any time by telephone or email.

WW1 Remembrance

St Chad’s church in Shrewsbury is holding short services every Wednesday at 5:00pm to remember each individual who made the ultimate sacrifice in the week of the 100th anniversary of their death.

Two servicemen from Willey parish who died in October 1914 have already been remembered. Many from our parishes who fell in the service of their country during the Great War will be listed over the next four years. All are welcome to attend these services, details of which may be found on the website www.stchadschurchshrewsbury.com/ww1-services

And finally…

I wish all of you a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year
